June 7, 2010Im a Professor. Once i went to Venice with my students for an excursion trip. Our trip was really enchanting. Before leaving for the city we have booked rooms in the hotels Venetië , which is one of the best place to stay in the city. We preferred to took the promenade along the city from one side to another. As my students were doing research on the city Venice so it was better for us to stay more time on the city streets instead taking the shortcut. While walking through the city streets we noticed a place to stay nearby and after asking local people in the city we got to know that it is the best hotels Venetië of the city. The city is not that big, and you can walk from one end to the other in a few hours. But it would take months for a fit person to discover every path in the city. The main paths in the city also have a luxurious hotel which offers the best stay in the city . Along the way you will discover marvelous art, superb architecture and breathtaking urban landscaping. Exploring the city randomly by walking is well worth it but also be prepared to get lost easily. While staying in the hotels Venice we have also attended a seminar on environmental issues. The busiest tourist seasons in Venice are between spring and autumn (April to October), over Christmas and during the popular Carnival in February. This city also offers budget hotels. If you want to get around a bit more quickly, there are numerous vaporetti (water buses) and water taxis. We heard about the city’s famous sights and museums and decided to visit the museums first in turn to gain some more knowledge about the city.

Festivals Celebrated in Venice
May 17, 2010While staying in the city we not only visited the museums in the city but we also went to check out the city’s festivals. Details of the various festivals we got from the city booklet in the hotel we stayed. If you are visiting to Venice , dont miss the opportuninty to see the festivals. Venice is famous for its Festivals. Hotels near the carnival area was simply an perfect to stay. The Carnival of Venice is held annually in the city, starting around two weeks before Ash Wednesday and ends on Shrove Tuesday. The carnival is closely associated with Venetian masks. hotels Venetië is close to the attractions of the city and from here you can reach to other places where city’s festivals take place. The Venice Biennale is one of the most important events in the arts calendar. The Venice Film Festival is the oldest film festival in the world.
Architecturally beautiful Venice
April 2, 2010The city have different arrays. It is beautiful not only in any single aspect but the city is enormously fantastic place to visit and enjoy many different facets of the city. This special architecture can also be seen on the walls of hotel Canel E Walter Venice in the Venice city. Venice has a rich and diverse architectural style, the most famous of which is probably the Gothic style. . Venetian Gothic architecture is a term given to a Venetian building style combining use of the Gothic lancet arch with Byzantine and Arab influences. The style originated in 14th century Venice where the confluence of Byzantine style from Constantinople met Arab influence from Moorish Spain. Chief examples of the style are the Doge’s Palace and the Ca’ d’Oro in the city. The city also has several Renaissance and Baroque buildings, including the Ca’ Pesaro and the Ca’ Rezzonico. Venice is a great magical city however during high season May, June, September, October is really crowded and more expensive, so I would strongly suggest to stay on winter period, more calm and relaxing. But before you visit the city in winters better book hotel to enjoy your stay without any halt.
Museums in Venice
March 28, 2010Every information regarding museums in the city and how to go there, we all got from our hotel, from the information desk only. While visiting the museums in the city we got to know about the special systems regarding how to visit the museums in the city. There is a museum pass available for some of Venice’s best known museums. It does not include all of them. It is already worthwhile buying it if you intend to visit the two big museums at Saint Marc Square: The Doge’s Palace and Correr Museum. We saw a wonderful hotels Venetië , it was like a palace. It was totally an royal place to enjoy your holiday in the city. A more expensive pass also including some famous churches and transportation is available at the tourist information. Correr Museum - it houses the interesting collection of globes, starting from the 16th century. Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale) - Don’t miss the guided tour named Secret Itinerary which will let you discover the part of the palace where the city’s administration worked, as well as Casanova’s jail and the wonderful five hundred year old roof structure. hotel Amadeus Venice near the museum area are good enough to enjoy the stay in the city and visit all the museums in the nearby area. Ca’ Pesaro— Beautiful palace housing the gallery of modern art focusing on Italian art in the 19th Century as well as the Marco Pollo Museum, a rich collection mainly of Asian exhibits. Bell tower of St. Mark’s (Campanile di San Marco)— The current tower dates from 1912; an exact replica of the previous tower which collapsed in 1902. The top of the tower offers great views of Venice and the lagoon. If i sum up everything so overall we enjoyed our stay in the city and stay and food in the hotels Venice .Come and explore the beautiful lake city , Venice.
